No. The OCR worker and selected language model download to your browser. Your image and recognized text are processed locally and are not sent to analytics.
Yes. Clear screenshots with large, upright printed text usually work well. Tiny text and heavy image compression can reduce accuracy.
JPG/JPEG, PNG and WebP, up to 15 MB and 20 megapixels. HEIC and PDF are not supported here.
English and Spanish. Select the language that matches the image. Only the selected language model is loaded when extraction starts. This tool does not translate text.
