This version accepts dBASE III header types 0x03 and 0x83 with character, numeric, float, date, logical and memo field descriptors. Other dBASE and FoxPro versions are withheld.
Known language-driver bytes select Windows-1252 or IBM866. An unknown driver warns and defaults to Windows-1252; reopen the file with an explicit encoding if text looks wrong.
Yes. Deleted records stay visible and exports include an explicit Deleted column, so no source row silently disappears.
No. Memo fields need a companion DBT file, which this single-file workspace does not yet accept. The schema and warning make this omission explicit.
No. Numeric and float fields remain strings in the model and text cells in Excel. CSV protects formula-like cells.
No. Parsing and exports happen locally. Row values, field names and filenames are excluded from analytics.
